Inter Crop Hosts Exclusive Seminar on Management Techniques for Insecticide Resistance in Fruit Crops
Dealing with insecticide resistance is one of the major challenges in cultivating economic fruit crops such as durian, mango, longan, and citrus. Because of their long lifespans, fruit trees often face recurring pest outbreaks. Farmers frequently apply the same chemical pesticides, only to find them less effective as insects adapt and develop resistance rapidly. This issue directly impacts the efficacy of insecticides, application costs, crop quality, and most importantly, the safety of the farmers.
